Accommodation Options
Accommodation is included (excl. Tour Only option) and based in local 3* Bed & Breakfasts, Guest Houses and 3* Highland Hotels. We give you the choice so you can choose what best suits your budget. Whatever you decide you are guaranteed a comfortable room and a warm Highland welcome.
Bed & Breakfast (B&B)/Guest House
B&B's are renowned for being warm and friendly and many people feel that they offer a more authentic way to experience Scotland. These are generally located within one mile of the centre of town, although during peak season, this distance may be slightly further. Most offer a traditional Scottish cooked breakfast. All B&B accommodation is en-suite.
Hotel
Highland Hotels are smaller than typical Hotels ensuring a cosy and hospitable welcome. Facilities are more limited when compared with most Hotels situated in large cities, however, you can be assured of a comfortable stay within close proximity to the centre of town. They are usually family run and have their own individual style and character. They serve traditional Scottish breakfast and often offer a dinner option too.
Solo Travellers
We have limited availability of Single Room upgrades which can be selected at time of booking where available.
Accommodation Accessibility
If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking. One of our experienced reservations staff will be more than happy to assist with you enquiry. You can read our full accessibility statement here.
Our coaches generally pick up and drop off customers at our overnight accommodation properties although there may be a short walk to meet the coaches at some locations.
The accommodation establishments are of 3-star standard or equivalent and are located in a mixture of small towns and rural villages; some of which may have sloping streets and uneven paths. The properties are generally less than one mile away from the village/town centre and all the locations have taxis available on request from the accommodation reception.
Guest houses only provide breakfast whereas hotels have dinner and breakfast options available. There will always be vegetarian options available but in more rural locations, gluten free and dairy free options may be limited. It will not be possible for guests to prepare their own food in guest houses or hotels.
For extended multi-day trips, ground floor accommodation is limited and subject to availability. With only a very few exceptions, all B&B and Hotel bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Level-entry showers, ground floor bedrooms and adapted toilets are limited, only available on request and cannot be guaranteed. There may be several steps before accessing the reception area from the front entrance and guests should be able to walk up steps in order to access rooms. Highland hotels do not have lifts/elevators. For our hotel options, the rooms tend to be on the first floor and access is via a flight of stairs.
