We enjoy a full day tour exploring the heart of Scotland, wonderful Highland scenery, towering mountain peaks, shimmering lochs and pine-covered glens. Followed by an evening at the world famous (and sold out) Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
We visit the small village of Doune, with its stunning 14th Century castle (made famous by Monty Python’s Holy Grail Film). Follow in the footsteps of the legendary Rob Roy Macgregor, stopping in the picturesque village of Killin, view the spectacular Falls of Dochart, fed by the high mountains above.
Our route follows beautiful Loch Tay, under the peaks of Ben Lawers. The finale of the day tour is whisky tasting at Scotland’s oldest malt whisky distillery (*Glen Turret at the Famous Grouse Experience). Our return journey to Edinburgh takes in views of the world-famous Forth Bridge. Also includes tickets for the evening performance of the Military Tattoo at the spectacular Edinburgh Castle.
